What is UD Pie Time?

UD Pie Time is a fundraiser put on by UD Physical Therapy students to benefit the Marquette Challenge - a grassroots, student-led fundraising effort to support the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research
It is a fun way to build community among faculty, clinicians, staff and students while raising money for a great cause. UDPT Students Raised the 3rd highest amount last year for the Marquette Challenge and this is a new initiative to improve the amount they can fundraise this year!

The VCU-Marquette Challenge is a grassroots, student-led fundraising effort to support the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research.
Numerous faculty and past and present UD students received funds raised by the Marquette Challenge which helped them launch their careers in clinical research
The Foundation for Physical Therapy’s purpose is to fund physical therapy research through grants, scholarships, and fellowships. Through these investments, researchers go on to yield exceptional research that helps us learn more about the efficacy of physical therapy practices, pioneer breakthrough treatments, and build the evidence-base to define the value of physical therapy among payers, other health care professions, and patients.
The Foundation for Physical Therapy creates a pipeline for future researchers and sow the seeds for new research to come, with the goal of improving patient care!

Faculty, Clinicians, and Staff who have volunteered to fundraise and potentially be pie’d!
There are 3 separate categories and whomever raises the most money in each category will be pie’d at the event!

Monday, February 24th from 1-1:30 in the South Atrium of STAR, near the GoBabyGo! Cafe
